The Carriage Shed is a family owned and operated business. Robert Therrien (Dad) is the owner, Jenny Therrien Sinclair (Daughter) is the Manager, Amy Therrien (Daughter) is the decorator, Roland Therrien (Cousin) is the Accountant, Edward Therrien (Cousin) is the go to guy, Mary Merchand (Adopted Sister) is the organizational Wizard, Brian Thibodeau (Adopted Brother) is the Delivery Guru, Scott Dubrenil (Adopted Brother) is the Crafty Delivery One. |

Robert Therrien
Robert was born and raised in Central Vermont. After two tours in Vietnam, Robert headed back to Vermont to start a construction business. Therrien Foundations was formed and operated for 36 years, until he had the opportunity to buy The Carriage Shed. He could see the growth potential that the business had. When he took over, The Carriage Shed dealt mostly with smaller sized sheds. Robert has allowed the business to grow, especially in the custom larger built structures. He loves working closely with the Amish and helping them design bigger and better structures for our customers. In his free time, if he can ever pull himself away from work, is traveling, flying planes, and spending time with his family.

Jenny Therrien Sinclair
Jenny was born and raised in Vermont. Even though she made her escape attempt to the Caribbean for two years, she made her way back to her home state. She does question her sanity during the middle of winter, when there is about 4’ of snow outside. She enjoys working with her family on a daily basis. It makes for a fun filled work atmosphere.
Jenny graduated from the University of Vermont with a degree in Anthropology and Cultural Geography. She loves that she is still able to put her Anthropology background to good use by working with the Amish. Cultures and traveling with her husband are her weakness. Sheds are her know how.

Amy Therrien
Amy was also born and raised in Central Vermont. She works here at The Carriage Shed when she is not freezing to death in Maine. Where she is a full time student at the University of Maine Orono. She is a third year art student and she loves to decorate and rearrange furniture around the yard with help from Jenny her sister. Amy loves that she is able to work along side her dad and sister during the summer and on her breaks from school. On her time off she loves to make jewelry, go hiking, take pictures, and enjoy the state of Vermont. She also tends to come visit The Carriage Shed to bug the people who are working that day.

Mary Merchand
Mary is a native of Vermont. She has lived in Central Vermont for 31 years with her husband, Larry. They have three children and two grandchildren. Mary attended the University of Vermont and is a Master Gardener. During her spare time she loves traveling to foreign countries to check out their gardening skills and architecture. Mary and Larry also have a camp in the Northeast Kingdom which keeps them busy with kayaking and birding.
